Cisco Network Design for African Bank (building a complete new network)

ProNetExpert was asked to architecture an end-to-end datacenter infrastructure security design from scratch. Tasks included:

>> Advising the customer and giving training to local staff
>> Advising and providing security architecture and consultation for network, development projects
>> Designing bank security based on CISCO hardware ( ASA Firewalls, IPS, switches and routers)
>> Developing VPN structure designed (IPsec/IKE/PKI)
>> Documenting high and low level design and managing the customer’s budget.
>> Advising on the deployment of wireless infrastructure.
>> Developing and recommending security system solutions for the bank infrastructure
>> Developing and maintaining security policies for the Network systems, Email, Internet, VPN, External connections, Datacenter.
>> Performing risk assessments by collecting, analyzing, and reporting information about potential and existing information security risks and threats.
>> Investigating possible security exceptions, updates, and maintaining documents security controls.
>> Leading efforts to protect corporate data and systems through enforcing information security policies and procedures.
>> Developing formal recommendations for mitigating risks and security exceptions
>> Conducting and planning penetration tests
>> Performing risk analysis/risk control on information assets and planning of information security policies. Implementing controls to bring potential damages to an acceptable level.
>> Provide security architecture and consultancy for network, server, application, and systems development projects
>> Develop, present, & coordinate training related to IT policies and best practices.
